中国と日本のルーツを持ち、日本生まれ・カナダ育ち。

日本語・英語・中国語・広東語を操るマルチリンガル・シンガーソングライター 。

作家としても高い評価を受けており、Mike 曾比特の「Talk To Me」では作曲・和声を担当し、同曲は香港金曲奨を受賞。EXO・SUHO、柴咲コウ、陳曉東、Mew Suppasit など多くのアーティストへ楽曲提供を行っている。

2025年大阪・関西万博の Cartier Women’s Pavilion 閉幕典礼では、テーマ曲の作詞作曲・歌唱を担当し、“ともに” のメッセージを音楽で表現した。

SHU の音楽は、言語や文化の垣根を越えて共感を紡ぐ “クロスカルチャー・ポップ” として世界中のリスナーに響き続けている。

SHU is a multilingual singer-songwriter born in Japan and raised in Canada, with roots in both China and Japan. He sings and writes in Japanese, English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.

As a songwriter, SHU has written and produced for major artists including EXO’s SUHO, Ko Shibasaki, Mike Tsang—whose award-winning “Talk To Me” earned the Hong Kong Golden Melody Award—as well as Mew Suppasit and more across Asia.

For the 2025 Osaka-Kansai Expo, SHU was commissioned by Cartier to write and perform the official closing theme song for the Women’s Pavilion, expressing the message of “togetherness ー tomoni” through music.

With his signature “Cross-Culture Pop,” SHU continues to create music that transcends language and connects listeners around the world.
